Our Services

Prenatal care visits every 4 weeks until 28 weeks, every 2 weeks until 36 weeks, and weekly until delivery.

Postpartum you can expect the same high level of care as we gave you prenatally - your 2 day visit will be done in the comfort of your home so you can stay in bed! Then you'll come back to the office with baby and see us at 1, 2, 4, and 6 weeks postpartum. If you need extra support, we give it at any point, without additional fees (unless you call us at 2am about a weird toenail). 

We offer all the same labs and testing that the typical OB's office does (included in the cost of your care), but it is all customized to the way that you want to receive your care.

In labor, either your midwives will join you at your home, or you'll meet us at the birth center when we determine together that it's time. We will closely monitor your vitals as well as your baby's vitals through the labor process, while doing our best to not interrupt your hard work. Any interventions or procedures will be done only with your full knowledge and consent.

Once baby arrives, we will remain together for approximately 2-4 hours postpartum, where we will continue to monitor you and baby's vitals as well as make sure you both get fed, do a full newborn exam, and provide information about what to expect in the next few days. If you're having a homebirth, never fear, we will also get everything neat and tidy before we leave so you can have zero stress as your family adjusts to your new addition.

We partner with Dr. Katie Castillo of Strength and Dignity Wellness, to offer 3 visits to help evaluate and treat the health of your pelvic floor, prenatally or postpartum, whether you're preparing for or recovering from birth. 

We have a close knit group of community providers we also give you access to easy referrals with -- from chiropractors to therapists to lactation consultants and doulas, whatever you need, we've got your back!

You'll have up to an hour at every visit to relax, ask questions, get to know your team, and receive our guidance on how to navigate everything from supplements to sleep and everything in between. At 36 weeks, we do a birth preferences visit (at home for a homebirth), where we talk out your absolute dream birth - who is catching your baby, what music will be playing, how do you want to be supported-- all the details of the big day are mapped out so we can help make your vision as much of a reality as possible. We also discuss what to expect in an emergency or if things don't go as smoothly as we would like, so there are as few surprises as possible (besides which parent baby will look the most like)! 

The in-labor transfer rate was 7.6% in 2024. Postpartum transfer rate was also 7.6%. We consider 100% of the transfers that we make to be a good use of resources and never frame them as a failure, because if we go in, we know we needed tools that exist only in the hospital's toolbox. IF we do need what the hospital has, someone from our team will accompany you or your baby to the hospital to continue to provide care and comfort during a big shift in plans, and then the midwives will continue postpartum care after discharge.

Our specialists will pick your placenta up after the birth of your baby (from ANY location where you birth), carefully and mindfully prepare your placenta in either the Traditional Chinese Method (TCM) or Raw method, with the highest hygiene standards, encapsulate it, and deliver it back to you. In most cases, your placenta will be delivered back to your home within 48-72 hours.

Every 1st & 3rd Saturday of the month from 10am-12pm come enjoy our safe space with your baby with coffee and snacks.
